(54) METHOD FOR OBTAINING DERIVATIVE HYDRAZO1
The invention relates to a process for the preparation of new hydrazone derivatives of the general formula </ BR> where R is hydrogen or halide; R. -alkyl hydroxyl, which can be used to produce 1,2-benzoxazole derivatives with pharmacological action. The patent literature describes. Processes for the preparation of various benzophenone derivatives, among which the closest to the described are compounds of the formula which are obtained by the interaction of benzofine with hydroxylamine fl. The described method, based on the known reaction of hydrazine with .aldehydes or ketones 2, results in new benzophenone derivatives. in accordance with the invention, a process is described for the preparation of hydrazone derivatives of the general formula where R is hydrogen or halo; Rj is alkyl of R j-hydroxyl, which is obtained by reacting a benzophenone of the formula </ BR> where R, R, Rj are as defined above, with hydrazine in ethanol solution at the boiling point of the reaction mass. The target product is selected in known manner. An example. 4-chloro-5-ethyl-2 oxybenzophenone hydrazone.
To a solution of hydrazine (0.7 g) and water (O, 36 ml) was added 4-chloro-5-ethyl-L.-2-hydroxybenzophenone (2.6 g) in ethanol (4 ml), the reaction mixture was heated for 1 , 5 hours at the boiling point of the reaction mass under reflux, then evaporated to dryness to obtain 4-Chloro-5-ethyl-2-hydroxybenzophenone hydrazone. In the form of an oil having a refractive index of 1.6245 at a temperature of 22.50 s.
